Fables Comic Book

I really thought the Fables comic book was a tad bit too much. As stated in class, the characters didn't possess any of the qualities (except appearance) that they had in the original fairytales. The only character that stayed in its element was the pig. i do agree that the comic book is more like reality than the fairytales which contain make believe themes and an "happily ever after" ending. One thing I did like about the comic book was the humor in some parts and the detailed pictures. The cussing went overboard. I know that most comic books have cussing, but like Amber Brown stated in class, the cuss words were used at awkward times in awkward ways.
